Spokane CPR and First Aid Training offers a range of lifesaving courses for both individuals and organizations. All courses are taught by certified, experienced instructors and follow nationally recognized curricula . Whether you’re looking to get certified on your own or train a whole team, we provide flexible scheduling to fit your needs . Below you’ll find our training offerings, including course details, pricing, duration, and certification information, organized for individuals and for business/groups.

Individual Training Options

Ideal for community members, parents, teachers, or anyone needing certification. Our individual classes are scheduled regularly at our Spokane training center with small class sizes for personal instruction. Each course includes hands-on practice with all necessary equipment provided.

CPR Certification Training (Individual)

Learn to save a life with our comprehensive CPR course. This class covers essential skills for responding to cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants . You will practice using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and learn how to assist choking victims in a variety of scenarios . No prior experience is required.

What You’ll Learn: Effective CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants; proper AED usage; and relief of choking emergencies . You’ll also learn how to assess emergency situations and ensure scene safety before providing care.

Duration: Approximately 3–4 hours (half-day session). This includes interactive instruction, hands-on practice on manikins, and skills testing.

Certification: 2-year CPR/AED certification upon successful completion (meets OSHA and workplace requirements). We issue American Heart Association or American Red Cross equivalent certification cards that are nationally recognized. After two years, a renewal course is required to maintain certification.

Pricing: $60 per person. (All course materials and certification card fees are included in the price.)

Our CPR class emphasizes confidence-building through practice. By the end, you will know how to recognize cardiac arrest, call for help, perform high-quality chest compressions and rescue breaths, and use an AED effectively during critical moments.

First Aid Training (Individual)

Be prepared to handle common injuries and medical emergencies with our First Aid course. This training focuses on immediate care techniques for a variety of situations until professional help arrives. It’s perfect for coaches, childcare providers, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone who wants to be ready in an emergency.

What You’ll Learn: How to treat wounds and bleeding, care for burns, respond to choking, and manage other injuries or sudden illnesses . The course covers bandaging techniques, splinting for sprains or fractures, handling allergic reactions, dealing with shock and seizures, and other essential first aid skills .

Duration: Approximately 3–4 hours. Through guided instruction and scenario practice, you’ll gain hands-on experience in performing first aid steps for various emergencies.

Certification: 2-year First Aid certification upon completion (compliant with national first aid guidelines). Like our CPR course, this certification is widely accepted and must be renewed every two years to stay current.

Pricing: $60 per person. (Includes all training supplies and a take-home first aid quick reference guide.)

During the First Aid class, expect interactive demonstrations and practical exercises. You’ll practice treating simulated injuries – from applying bandages to using epinephrine auto-injectors (EpiPens) for allergic reactions – so you leave confident in your ability to help others safely and promptly.

Combined CPR & First Aid Training (Individual)

Get the best of both worlds with our combined CPR & First Aid course. This option is a convenient, cost-effective way to earn both certifications in one comprehensive session. It’s ideal for those who need complete training in one day, such as workplace requirements or foster parenting certifications, or for anyone who wants to be fully prepared for all types of emergencies.

What You’ll Learn: A complete curriculum covering all topics from the CPR course and the First Aid course. In one day, you will master adult, child, and infant CPR, AED usage, and choking relief plus learn first aid skills for wounds, burns, broken bones, allergic reactions, and more . This combined training ensures you can handle both life-threatening emergencies and common injuries.

Duration: Approximately 5–6 hours (full-day training with breaks) . The day is structured into modules, with a lunch break and short pauses to keep you fresh. Despite the length, the course is engaging and split between multimedia instruction and plenty of hands-on practice.

Certification: 2-year certification in both CPR/AED and First Aid for each participant. Upon completion, you’ll receive dual certifications (often issued as a single certification card noting both CPR/AED and First Aid) valid for two years, after which renewal is needed. These certifications meet the standards of major organizations and fulfill most job or school requirements.

Pricing: $100 per person (save by bundling – this combined course is more affordable than taking CPR and First Aid separately). Group discounts may be available if you sign up with a friend or family member. All materials, including course workbook and certification fees, are included.

By choosing the combined course, you’ll benefit from a comprehensive training experience. Participants not only save time and money, but also get a broader education in emergency response. You’ll finish the day with the confidence to perform CPR, use an AED in critical situations, and provide first aid care for injuries or sudden illnesses – truly being ready for anything.
